Become a permanent vote-by-mail voter
| Why should you register to vote by mail for every election? |
 |
- You can vote anytime, anywhere.
|
- No lines. No time off work. No hassle.
|
- You’ll be more likely to vote, even in low-turnout elections, and advance us all faster towards full equality.
|
Here’s how to become a permanent vote-by-mail voter:
- Fill out and print the application to vote by mail.
- Be sure to check the box to become a permanent vote-by-mail voter, and don’t forget to sign your application.
- Mail the application to your county elections office. Make sure to send it soon; your county elections office needs to receive it by October 26, 2010 for you to get your ballot by mail for this November’s elections.
Anyone can become a permanent vote-by-mail voter. Once you send in your application, you will automatically receive a ballot by mail for each election as long as you continue to vote. If you don’t vote in a statewide election, your name will be deleted from the permanent vote-by-mail voter list. You’ll still be registered to vote, but you will need to send in another application to become a permanent vote-by-mail voter again.
